If you can share individual windows in Zoom, but not your entire Desktop, make sure that the meeting host has unchecked the "Disable desktop screen share for users" option under the "In Meeting (Basic)" settings that are available under their account online at https://us02web.zoom.us/profile/setting
It's likely that the meeting will also have to be restarted to reflect the change.
