The Waiting Room in Zoom is a security feature that allows the host to decide on a case-by-case basis who to admit into their meeting. While the feature can be useful, many hosts find it disruptive to have to constantly monitor the Participants list to see if anyone else needs to be admitted.

To disable the Waiting Room for a meeting already in session (as the host), click the Security button at the bottom of the main Zoom window, and uncheck "Enable Waiting Room."

To disable the Waiting Room for all of your meetings to be scheduled in the future, visit this Zoom Settings link in a web browser (you may need to sign in with your Zoom account) and turn off the Waiting Room feature. https://us02web.zoom.us/profile/setting

This more permanent setting will only affect Zoom meetings you schedule in the future. For existing meetings, you will likely still need to disable the Waiting Room at the beginning of your meeting as described above.
