If you've recently enrolled, your online student accounts will be ready for you to explore soon after, usually by the next business day. Look out for a welcome message sent to the personal email address that you listed on your application. (Sometimes it can end up in your Spam folder!) The message you need will contain your new @tocc.edu Gmail account, as well as the temporary password to use the first time you login.


Go to https://gmail.com to sign into your TOCC Gmail account for the first time with the credentials given to you. If you find that you're already signed into Gmail with your personal email address, click on this link to add the TOCC Gmail account: https://accounts.google.com/AddSession


After you type in your temporary password for the first time, you will be asked to change it to something that you will remember. 


Once you've signed into your TOCC Gmail account, you'll be able to access your Canvas account for class discussions, assignments, and quizzes, as well as your MyTOCC account for class registrations and unofficial transcripts. You will find them under the Google Apps icon at the top right of your TOCC Gmail window (the "nine dots"). Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Google Apps tray to find Canvas and MyTOCC. If it asks you which account to use, select your @tocc.edu account. Here's a screenshot to show you what to look for:
